You've found what you're looking for and you're ready to buy! Express your desire to purchase to the seller by submitting a letter of intent.
01
Discuss
A consensus has been reached between you and the seller and the terms and conditions have been accepted by both parties. You can now call on your notary to draw up the preliminary sales agreement (compromis de vente).
02
Be patient
Once this has been signed, the Notary begins to gather the necessary information and carry out the verifications required to remove the suspensive conditions. This usually takes 3 months to complete.
03
Get the keys
On completion of the notary's checks, the deed of sale can be signed by both parties, confirming that you are now the new owner. Congratulations!
